The result is wedding florals that are carefully considered, meticulously crafted, and distinctly you. A Vignette wedding is your story, translated into flowers. So it could only be one-of-a-kind.


Vignette, three ways.

  • For the couple marrying at city hall and / or having a small party to celebrate.

    We only offer elopement packages within the Bay Area.

  • For the couple celebrating with a small ceremony and a close group of family and friends. We love a non-traditional wedding and we love working with couples looking for playful, unique florals that make a statement on a limited budget.

    We only offer micro-wedding services within the Bay Area.

  • Bespoke florals for the full scope of your wedding, from ceremony to cocktail to reception to afterparty. We tailor florals to your space, your style, and the experience you want your guests to have.

    For these weddings, we require couples to work with a wedding planner / designer, and we collaborate closely with the whole vendor team throughout the planning and design process. For full service weddings, we are available throughout California and beyond.

We want the journey of planning your florals to be just as exciting as seeing it all come together on your wedding day. Our process is rooted in collaboration, communication, and care. We work closely with you and your planner at every step of the design process. We guide you from the hazy inspiration stage to the moment when you’ve found your floral point of view. We make sure you sidestep fear and overwhelm. We hone in on your vision, we dream together, and we bring it to life. We make recommendations and suggest alternatives when necessary, and we’ll always share our honest opinion. We take all the pieces of the design puzzle and match them to the logistics. And trust us when we say that after twenty years, we’ll think of everything so that you don’t have to.

  • Everything we do starts with you. This call is all about hearing your story. We dive into how you want your wedding to feel, and what you want your guests to remember.

    We often include your planner on this call so that we can get a feel for scope and the overall design direction.

    But mostly, we want to get a sense of your personalities and priorities so that when we start dreaming up designs, we can tailor them to your vision.

  • Working from our intro call and your planner’s design outline, we create an in-depth visual design deck. You can expect to see examples of materials and colors, inspiration photos, and digital mock ups of our original design ideas, as well as an estimated budget.

    We see the initial design deck as the starting point for a shared visual language. As logistics inevitably change or new ideas evolve in the planning process, we build upon this foundation.

  • At our sample meeting, we create a mock up of your reception table scape. We usually coordinate this with your planner to coincide with a tasting at your venue or a showroom visit so that you can see the florals in context with your linens and table setting.

    Our favorite moment is seeing your eyes light up, seeing the vision, all the pieces coming together, and you’re excited. Because that’s how it should be. We want joy, excitement, and confidence going into your wedding.

  • Offering a custom service means we are able to smoothy adjust to changes in your wedding. As guest counts change or rentals get swapped out, we stay in close communication with your planner so that our florals align perfectly with your vision and the logistics of your wedding.

  • This is when everything comes together! We source the best and freshest flowers for your wedding from local growers and the amazing SF Flower Market. We have close relationships with our vendors and let them know your color palette in advance so that can set aside special, limited blooms just for us.

    Then, our studio really starts to buzz. We take care of every stem to ensure quality and freshness. We monitor certain blooms to make sure they’re at peak bloom on the day of your wedding. We get to work with our team to carefully design each arrangement.

    On site, our team is talented, efficient, and professional. We work behind the scenes so that by the time you arrive, all you see is effortless perfection.

ELOPEMENTS

For the couple marrying at city hall and / or having a small party. We love intimate, personal expressions of love and take on as many of these as our schedule allows, so please inquire!

Our elopement services usually include personal flowers and florals for a small dinner or lunch. We do not require a planner and usually work directly with the couple for elopements. We offer a consultation call and one design call along with unlimited email correspondence for our elopement couples. Our elopement couples usually allot between $2000-$5000 for florals. We only offer elopement florals within the Bay Area, usually San Francisco, Berkeley, or Oakland.

MICRO WEDDINGS

For the couple celebrating with a small ceremony and a close group of family and friends. We love a non-traditional wedding and we love working with couples looking for playful, unique florals that make a statement on a limited budget.

Our micro wedding services typically include personal flowers, three to five statement arrangements (think ceremony clusters or bar and welcome table arrangements), and floral accents for your tablescapes. Our microwedding couples typically hire a month-of planner or day-of coordinator but plan much of the wedding themselves. Our micro weddings typically range from at $5,000-$15,000. We only offer microwedding services within the Bay Area.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It depends on the event and the scale! 

    We’re known for design forward weddings with unexpected florals that require a high level of trust and collaboration. In those cases, we work closely with the planner and client throughout the design process. For a lot of our weddings and corporate events, planners reach out to us when they know we would be a good fit for their client. 

    Many of our elopement, micro-wedding, and private event clients have day of coordinators or month of planners, but we don’t require it. 

  • We don’t have a hard minimum. We always respect your budget and are realistic, creative, and transparent about what we can achieve together.

  • The best rule of thumb is to always reach out as soon as you can so that we can hold your date. Beyond our availability, there are a lot of factors that go into how long it takes to plan and design.

  • Yes! We love destination events.

  • Vignette has been a primarily foam free studio for over 10 years. We were among the first to transition from foam to safer, more sustainable mechanics like chicken wire and pin frogs.

    We are constantly dreaming up new structures and mechanics for complex installations and designs.
