The grounds at Beaulieu Garden are a study in symmetrical, classic European landscaping, so we played with the juxtaposition between romantic classicism and modern lines at every moment of this wedding. At the ceremony, we followed the scale and symmetry of the garden, but broke out of the mould with wild textures and surprising materials like lotus pods, king protea, and dried water plantain. At the reception, we mixed traditional centerpieces that featured roses and tulips with modern bud vases filled with bold, linear stems. The push - pull of contrasts made for an unforgettable day; a classic wine country wedding with a twist.
